The Haunting of Unit 4B
Three roommates. One cheap apartment. One ghost (probably).
Three roommates got the cheapest two-bedroom in the city, and now they know why: Unit 4B is haunted. Or the wiring is bad. A believer, a skeptic and the one on the lease chase a new spooky clue every episode, while the building super says as little as possible and the sweet old neighbour in 4A says a little too much.

Luna Okonkwo-Reyes
the believer: a part-time dog walker who runs a ghost-hunting channel with 41 subscribers (her mom is 3 of them)
fearless, delighted by every creak, names every ghost, owns a gadget for everything (an EMF meter that is mostly her phone, a "spirit box" that is a radio); treats every mundane clue as proof

Ike Mensah
the skeptic: a physics PhD student writing a thesis nobody can pronounce
explains everything with science, out loud, with diagrams; secretly the jumpiest person in the building (screams first, explains later); always right about the mechanism, wrong about what it means

Penny Lusk
the one on the lease: an assistant at a pet insurance company, the only one with a real job
does not care if it is a ghost, cares if it is damage; photographs every scuff, keeps a deposit spreadsheet, negotiates with the ghost like a landlord

Stan Petrakis
the building super, in the basement since forever
overalls, a mustache, a ring of 60 keys; answers questions with one word or another question; appears silently behind people; obviously knows more than he says and never says it

Edna Featherstone
the neighbour in 4A, "here since 1962"
sweet, dressed for a different decade, always in the hallway with a cup of tea, tells cheerful stories that are slightly too spooky; nobody ever sees her come or go
Running gags to watch for

- Ike screams first and explains thermodynamics second
- Penny photographs everything for the deposit
- Stan appears silently behind someone
- the elevator has been out of order forever
- Edna knows something about every unit, since 1962
- Stan leaves helpful notes that explain everything, and nobody ever reads them
