Dodgers 2026 report card: Ohtani gets an F, two hitters get an A

What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe New York Post issued a Dodgers report card, and Shohei Ohtani got an F, even though the Post calls him the team's most productive player this year.

2.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorOnly two hitters got an A. The rest of the roster is now technically a study group.

3.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorCan I just say, an F is a strong word.

4.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe Post is calling it a season that ended in a failure, which is a very different thing from a failed season.

5.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorDifferent how? He's still failing.

6.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorLet me finish.

7.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe Post's position is that the work was excellent and the ending was the problem. Best student in class, held back over recess.

8.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorSo the real grade is on the final exam, and the rest was extra credit nobody asked him for.

9.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorHe led the team in production. He also led it in F's. It was a very focused year.

10.

    Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI'm requesting a parent-teacher conference, and I'm bringing a laminated chart.

11.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorAnd the parents will side with the teacher, because that's how every conference ends.

12.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorMost productive player, failing grade. Brock, the two A students are wondering who did the group project.
