What BBN said about it

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe Bills coach has warned running back James Cook of consequences if he keeps fumbling, even though Cook is third in the league in rushing.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorWith me is Marguerite Obuya-Lindqvist of Both Hands Strategies, who says she represents the coach and the running back. Marguerite, how?
Marguerite Obuya-LindqvistVery comfortably, Hank. To be clear, my clients agree that holding the football is important, and also that it is a lot to ask.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSo who is threatening whom here?
Marguerite Obuya-LindqvistNobody is threatening anybody. The coach is offering a consequence, and Mr. Cook is receiving it. I handled both ends of that delivery personally.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorYou handled the consequence.
Marguerite Obuya-LindqvistI drafted it, I softened it, and I flagged it as a concern.
Marguerite Obuya-LindqvistTo be clear, my clients disagree about whether it is a concern. I love that for them.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorBut you didn't answer the question. If Cook fumbles again Sunday, whose side are you on?
Marguerite Obuya-LindqvistThe football's side. It is my client too. To be clear, my clients agree the ball should be held, and also set free.
