Brock Takes Personal Offence at the Whole Planet

What BBN said about it

1.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistHottest in the world this Saturday is Timbuktu, Mali, forty degrees Celsius, clear skies. Not one cloud. The sun is doing that at me.

2.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorIt's a desert city, Brock. Forty is roughly the plan.

3.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistColdest is Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, minus nine, and the capital didn't even call first. Windiest is Wellington, New Zealand, fifty-five kilometres an hour, per MET Norway.

4.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorMinus nine is what, in Fahrenheit?

5.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistFifteen degrees. I assume Ulaanbaatar's forecast reads, quote, nothing personal. It's personal.

6.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorYou're in a studio.

7.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistThe studio is where it hurts most. Wellington has fifty-five kilometre winds, and I have a part.

8.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorAll right. What's it like here in New York?

9.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistA high of sixteen, a low of six, winds ten kilometres an hour, partly cloudy. Nothing happens. Nothing at all.

10.

Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistI've never felt so ignored.

11.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorSixty-one and partly cloudy. I'm going to have it framed.
