What BBN said about it

  1. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorCapistrano Valley beat Villa Park on a Thursday, late, at Tustin, in a game the Orange County Register calls weird.

  2. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorJoining us from a yacht is publicist Barnaby Teague. Mr. Teague, you were not involved, correct?

  3. Barnaby TeagueGloria, I'm involved in everything that goes well. The late start was as planned. Very much as planned.

  4. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorSeveral Orange County games started late because of lightning delays. Did you plan the lightning?

  5. Barnaby TeagueNo. I only planned the delay. The lightning was a freelancer, and I rang the bell for it afterward.

  6. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorYou rang a bell for the weather.

  7. Barnaby TeagueIt's brass. It carries. Now, Tustin. Probably neither school's field, a neutral site, a bold choice, and entirely as planned.

  8. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorCapistrano Valley is in Mission Viejo. Did anyone tell the Capistrano Unified School District about Tustin?

  9. Barnaby TeagueThey were told organically, which is to say late. As planned. The fans were told earlier. They have the better publicist.

  10. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorSo is that a yes? You planned all of it?

  11. Barnaby TeagueSeven and one, Gloria. A record like that doesn't happen by accident. I take full credit for the seven. And the Thursday.

  12. Gloria Vance · World News AnchorVerdict on the plan: unverified. Thank you, Mr. Teague. And the one loss?

  13. Barnaby TeagueThat was before my time.
