What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorTwo women are trying to set a Guinness record for the longest distance driven in toy cars, CBS News reports, and they're going five hundred miles.

2.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorFive hundred miles, from Jacksonville to Key West, on sidewalks and bike lanes. Top speed is eleven miles an hour.

3.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe range is eleven miles a charge. So that's roughly forty-five charges.

4.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorHold on, I've done the sums. Forty-five plugs in forty-five strangers' garages, and one of them has a dog.

5.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorThat's how a record becomes an incident.

6.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThey also have to log every stop, bathroom breaks included, and an official witness rides in the passenger seat.

7.

Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorA witness. In a toy car. For five hundred miles. I'd confess to anything by Daytona.

8.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe animal charity fundraiser is a good cause. It gets one alligator, for the sidewalks.
