What BBN said about it

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThis is a BBN special report. The US ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has resigned amid misconduct allegations, and she denies them.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe allegation, as Al Jazeera reports it, is that she offered access to Trump administration officials in exchange for money.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorShe says that is not true.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorNBC News says she resigned as ambassador, and The Guardian is running a live blog of her denial.
Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo the resignation and the denial arrived together.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorWhat matters for viewers is that an ambassador is the face of American policy in a NATO country, and an access-for-money allegation goes straight at public trust in that job.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorThe details are thin. The summary does not say who made the claim, what evidence exists, or who replaces her.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThat is what to watch next: any formal inquiry, a named successor, and whether her denial gets tested.
