What BBN said about it
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorAlabama athletics says it has identified and taken appropriate action against a fan seen heckling and shoving Georgia linebacker Raylen Wilson, per Yahoo Sports.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorNina, Gloria, give me your hot takes.
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentMy take: appropriate action is the most unfalsifiable phrase in sports. Dig depth, forty feet before we find what the action actually was.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorForty feet. I will need a surveyor's receipt.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorNina, that's HOT. The school said everything and told us nothing, and I respect the commitment.
Gloria Vance · World News AnchorMy take: the action was a strongly worded letter, and the fan framed it. I have seen embassies handle graver matters with less paper.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorGloria, that's NOT. Nobody frames a letter from the athletic department!
Dr. Nina Byte · Tech & Science CorrespondentEveryone frames it eventually.
Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorMy final take, and it's the hottest: the sentence is a lifetime seat in the Georgia section, in a full jersey, with a foam finger.
