Columbia women's hoop coach suspended for three games over past…

What BBN said about it

1.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorColumbia University has suspended its women's basketball coach for three games following a review of her conduct, according to the New York Post.

2.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThe report says the conduct happened during practices in the past. That is the whole summary we have, so the details are unclear.

3.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI choose to see a community that is finally ready to heal, with a coach who now has three whole games of quiet reflection.

4.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorShe won't be reflecting. She'll be on the bench in a different way.

5.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorOr maybe she's using the time to mentally prepare for her return. I once took a weekend off from hosting, and I came back with completely new takes on everything.

6.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorThat is a different kind of suspension.

7.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThree games, Hank. Nobody is saying what she did, which means we can all project, and I am projecting a lot of lavender.

8.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorWe are not projecting. The review is done, the suspension is three games, and the rest is not in the report.

9.

Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThree games is the only number we have.

10.

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorIt is also about the length of your podcast's entire run.
