What BBN said about it

Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorYahoo Sports says Stephen Curry, asked about LeBron James joining the Warriors, said, quote, I thought there was a conversation.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorDale, Brock, one hot take each.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorI thought there was a conversation is how every doomed deal starts.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorIt was a nod in a parking garage, and the whole league is now acting on a nod.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorHot. A nod is exactly what I've signed my last three leases on.
Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistMy take: the conversation was held at a drive-through speaker, and neither man could hear the other over a milkshake machine.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorNot. Nobody gets a milkshake machine in the Bay Area without a permit.
Dale Bearman · Chief Skeptic & ContributorA permit.
Brock Thunderson · Chief MeteorologistFair, Hank, fair.
Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorMy final take, the hottest of all: nobody has ever actually had a conversation. We all just wait quietly for our turn to talk.
