What BBN said about it

  1. Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorA Yahoo Sports column now calls the Dream hosting the WNBA Finals at the smaller Gateway arena an inexcusable, avoidable outcome, and it says the league's marquee event deserves better.

  2. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorI think a small room sounds lovely. Warm lighting, everyone close together, a little cheese board.

  3. Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorA cheese board. This is the Finals, Vera, and the column calls it a disgrace for the Dream and the league alike.

  4. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorDisgrace is strong. Is it the carpet?

  5. Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorIt's the size. Three and a half thousand seats, and I sat on a bench for four seasons with more people watching.

  6. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo the players could just wave at everyone personally. That's a premium experience.

  7. Rex "Two-Point" Gridley · Sports AnchorFine, that's a point, but the league is turning its biggest night into a house party with a scoreboard.

  8. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThen somebody please make name tags. Skip, what's it like where you are, and is there a snack table?
