Ossoff rules out 2028 run, vows full Senate term

The Georgia Democrat, who is on the November ballot, committed to a full six-year term if he wins; the 2028 chatter will presumably carry on anyway.

What BBN said about it

  1. Chip Darnell · U.S. News AnchorGeorgia Senator Jon Ossoff says he has zero interest in running for president, and he is promising to serve a full six-year term if he wins in November, which Politico calls his most forceful rejection of the twenty twenty-eight talk yet.

  2. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorZero is a very strong number, Chip, and I admire a man who says no before anybody has even asked him a question.
