What BBN said about it

  1. Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorA Los Angeles Times commentary is now out scoring the mayoral debate between Karen Bass and Nithya Raman, asking who actually won.

  2. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorThe New York Post says Raman still would not say when she would fire police chief Jim McDonnell, and a top Bass ally accused her of misleading voters.

  3. Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorFor anyone in Los Angeles, this is the question of who runs the police department, and so far the answer is a pledge without a date.

  4. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorNo date at all?

  5. Hank Ledger · Lead AnchorNone. It's a deadline with the deadline removed, and voters are left to read the calendar themselves.

  6. Vera Bullock · Co-AnchorSo basically she's asking voters to just trust her on the timing, no actual commitment whatsoever.
