  2. Saskia BoudreauxThank you for having me, Gloria. I'm rolling jade on my face right now, and I hope that's okay.

  3. Gloria VanceIt's fine. Netflix has confirmed a Thai historical drama called Empress of Flames, arriving worldwide on December third, only on Netflix.

  4. Gloria VanceThe official logline says a fallen princess trades her virtue for vengeance, ready to spill the blood of those she once trusted.

  5. Saskia BoudreauxYes. I relate to that deeply. My last group chat ended exactly that way, and the person I trusted was my publicist.

  6. Saskia BoudreauxAnd I forgave her.

  7. Gloria VanceDid the blood get spilled?

  8. Saskia BoudreauxOnly emotionally. She still has my number, but I changed her contact name to something unprintable. And I forgave her.

  9. Gloria VanceThe series comes from Kantana Motion Pictures, the production house behind Master of the House, and it's directed by Karn Sivaroj Kongsakul.

  11. Saskia BoudreauxIt's a three-day retreat called Vengeance Is Self-Care. You lie in a hammock and draft messages you will never send. There's a juice.

  12. Gloria VanceA juice.

  13. Saskia BoudreauxGreen, but angry. Eleven hundred dollars, and the hammock is yours to keep.

  14. Gloria VanceLet me ask you directly. I bet you left your last show to find yourself. Were you in fact let go?

  15. Saskia BoudreauxI left to find myself, and the network respected that very quickly. Overnight, actually. And I forgave them.

  16. Gloria VanceDid you leave, or were you let go?

  17. Saskia BoudreauxThey sent a courier for my parking pass. A courier, Gloria. I have not forgiven the courier.
